Artemisia
Medicinal Teas

Artemis: goddess of hunting, wild animals childbirth & the harvest
Artemisia is a large genus of plants that includes approximately 200-400 species from the daisy family. Some notable species include mugwort and wormwood- herbs used widely in the Wiccan community for various reasons including potent medicinal properties and use as a tool for prophetic dreams and visions. Because of the powers of the species in this genus, Wiccans often cultivate these plants in moon gardens in honor of Artemis who was believed to hold similar powers.
